Anyone out there that was let go in February, have funds in their dependent account. We put away funds for the kids camps etc during the summer, of course you need to sign up for that in the previous October. Well, now I'm told, I can't make any type of claim from Summer camp against the funds in my account since I was let go in Feb. The claim would need to be from Jan or Feb. Suggestions/thoughts

Probably needed by Grimes Estrada and Barra for the new matching shirts they'll all be wearing next month...of course all allegedly. ..similar situation with GIS insurance they sold prior to bankruptcy. ..where did all that cash go to ?!...probably joint training at a golf course. ..
This is why flex accounts are a joke. That was your money and they should give it to you. Wait for a class action lawsuit and you may get it back some day.
Yeah, any kind of flex spending account can lose the balance if you get laid off and haven't made your claims before then.
Yes. Don't invest into something that is reliant upon your continued employment. That is what is called a scam.
Makes filling out the benefits section of employment so much easier.
