Was in WM yesterday watching jewelry associate while wife and granddaughter were shopping. The whole 15 minutes that I watched her she just walked around inside the jewelry counter, not even trying to look busy. I would think she would grab some spray cleaner and clean the glass, maybe dust here or there, or even straighten up sone of the clutter, but no. All she did was walk around. How do I get a job like that?

Low pay = minimal effort
I am not sure where you are located, but I work in the Jewelry Dept. – and I do not have a job like this . . . We are also responsible for the Shoe Dept and all of the freight for both areas – so, we barely have time to breathe. We are not even allowed to be by the counters, unless waiting on a customer (and not having ready access to an associate drives the customers crazy). Be thankful your store still has a Jewelry Dept, as their days are numbered. Most stores do not even have them anymore.
