According to HR friend they are targeting the next lay off for late September (9/24 is a Tuesday). Managers are supposed to complete the staff evaluation exercise process by the end of August. May want to start jockeying for position if you want to stay or go. My manager is not my biggest fan, fingers crossed I will get a severance.

This is not true, just like all the other post from someone who has a “friend” in HR.
