What the hell is happening, the place is falling apart. The main man leaving, what’s next

Blake needs to shutdown dqe. What a waste of money. Bunch of w@nker$. Absolutely no value generated. Just give them all redundancy.
Valued, rewarded, appreciated, more than just a number that’s what more WE want! You need to pull your head out the clouds or whatever managers arse you have your head stuck in and look around you, it’s fair to say pretty much everyone is grateful to have a job and no one wants anymore redundancies (you ain’t a minority there champ) but other than paying us a reduced wage to do more work we get nothing back. Suggestions......... are you serious!!! Honestly what planet are you on, let’s list a few suggestions....
7-3.30 standard hours
Open bank holidays
Early finish on Friday
9 day fortnight
Radios
Gym membership
Summer bbq
That’s just a few and we’ve never got anything. People are sick of making suggestions because they NEVER get approved!! Don’t even come with the money side of it, most of the above cost very little if anything to this company and is you don’t agree go and google Blake’s and his vp’s salaries last year and have a look at there BONUS’S.
Good for you.
With a few more on board with the same attitude we may start to see some progress.
I did leave the industry. I was one of the ones who was made redundant.
Now I’m back and will do all I can to ensure no more redundancies. Can you say the same?
Your the best example of the brown nose as#licker there is . You do everyone a favour and you leave the industry.
You would probably be just as hated in your new industry as well.
“What more do you want?” was a question. Answer the question. If you feel so passionate and loyal to DQ suggest some solutions, but please stop the constant moaning and self pity. The oil industries has gone through one of its toughest periods and you still have a job. Be thankful that you were one of the survivors and do your bit to ensure a future. If this is beyond what you believe your job description is then leave. Leave the oil industry entirely.
The people that keep telling people to leave. It's them that should leave ,
their partly responsible for making dril-quip the way it is.
The company would be a far better workplace if these people stfu and left.
“What more do you want” with an attitude like that you should be a manager a dq.... if you aren’t one already!
It’s not that simple to just say leave, people have been with this company a long time and are loyal to the company, they want to work for dq and have been here through the good times and seen how the company can be run, some don’t have the balls to leave and will stay and moan for the rest of time, true, but personally I think the majority want to be here but are p-ss-d off at the way they are being treated. Dq are loosing good guys every week who want to be here but are p-ss-d off at the way they are treated, guys that this company needs to move forward, the talent and experience not some brown nosed talentless id–t with a “when things get hard, Quit” attitude!
Yeah, if your that unhappy just leave, like the other guys who had the balls, fair play to them, but the company goes on...
Couldn’t agree more. DQ don’t owe anyone anything and as for the statement “we get nothing back”, you get a pay cheque each week. What more do you want?
If your not happy just leave, there are plenty jobs out there, why are you still with drip-quip if your so unhappy. I’m not kissing a– with this quote, we all had the pay cut we are slowly getting it back. There’s plenty overtime so earning a good wage, if you don’t like what direction DQ are going leave, don’t take everyone else who is happy at dq down with you. You probably get your 2nd half of your pay cut back next year, and you’ll still be bitter about it. Just leave and make yourself happy.
Part of the last post says it all, “Very few are happy and no one wants to put in the effort because we get nothing back” I couldn’t agree more. It’s all one sided, freeze pay for 3 years, then pay reductions and more redundancies and now they expect those left to get them out of this mess 😂
The place is falling apart because moral is so low, plain and simple. The “main man” caused a lot of it with the way he dealt with things.
Very few are happy and no one wants to put in the effort because we get nothing back.
Good riddance to him.
There are no company credit cards though so that’s not right
Like the last manager to leave by mutual consent, dabbling on the company credit card ??
Michaux left with immediate effect ‘by mutual consent’. Won’t be the last either
What happened?
Where will all this end (badly)
Leaving???? LOL. Yeah cause that's what's really happened.
