Is more coming in US? Is it happening only in US or other parts of it as well?

PS is low margin because the existing leadership is clueless to address the mistakes made by legacy leadership. Bottom line, PS is why people by NetApp. Lay everyone off, force PS to clueless partners and that’s how NetApp dies. NetApp Deployments and Administration are too complicated without some form of PS. Customers are seeing this and opting to purchase purpose driven solutions like Nutanix. NetApp will be something else entirely by 2020. Either NVidia or Lenovo will acquire NetApp if that hasn’t already been determined privately already. Given the fact everyone in leadership is jumping ship, the fuse is lit. Just a matter of time.
My manger in PS says next week is next round. Good luck everyone.
With the all hands coming on the 15th of August, I suspect the layoff action will start within a week of that date if it has not already started. In my opinion, the layoffs should start with Henri...
PS has a cycle. It's a low margin business, so every time it starts impacting the bottom line it gets cut. The the business figures out they need PS to close deals. It happens at NetApp, It happens at Microsoft,, heck,,, it happen everywhere.
The problems that NetApp faces are much deeper than a PS haircut can solve. Customers are moving to cloud. On premises sales are dropping. NetApp's competitors have the exact same problem, so it's not NetApp specific. The old channel and partner plays to sell a box just aren't working. NetApp needs to adapt to the new reality to survive, or just roll over and die. Old habits die hard, so I think there is a lot of pain in the future for NetApp until they can figure out how to adapt to the new normal.
Anyone know why they are doing layoffs in small increments? Is it they hope things will turn around or they want people to leave so they don’t have to pay out a package? They don’t want Wall Street to know? Why not offer a voluntary layoff? It’s hurting the moral of the company.
PS Group is always being impacted. NetApp leadership is clueless. Beyond clueless.
PS group now, so what's next?
Support or CSD group? This sh#t never ends!!

Another round coming for PS. Brace for impact in a few weeks from now.
GPTW was k–led when the folks in charge of that program were rifted years. Yes, there were people employed whose job was to work on GPTW activities and gather employee feedback to submit, etc. GPTW is the equivalent of Yelp for Fortune 500 companies.
Layoffs have destroyed the "Best Places to Work" culture at NetApp.
Stop hiring during tough times (hire to maintain a good turnover ratio), invest on your employees and use layoffs only when it's absolutely necessary or the last option.
To Executive Management, layoffs destroy employee moral and environment.
Of course there will be more layoffs. That’s the only thing this company can do best. Market leaders in layoffs!
There’s a lot of disgruntled employees and I don’t know why. Lay-off package netted me 90 days of free income and a severance check of almost $30K. Best thing that ever happened to me. Thank you NetApp.
Investor and Employment lawsuits. NetApp is discriminating against older higher paid employees. Fact. Management has actually come into this forum and posted comments as if they have a leg to stand on with their decisions. Not to mention they laid off over. 2500 employees since 2018. It’s time NetApp finally addresses this subject in federal court. If you are still employed with NetApp, you are a fool. Additionally, you are being lazy and only damaging yourself. You should be ashamed of who you have become.
Having given lower mid-quarter guidance and with the pending investor lawsuit, executive management will have to be seen taking action soon. A layoff announcement sometime this month seems likely to me.
