The 2 night shifts were cut on the 2nd. Management asked for volunteers to apply for day shift to help with the latest high priority order with and undetermined finish date.
Only a small handful of night shift folks opted to stay .
Rumor control has it that management was surprised with the less than expected response to the offer. This was no surprise per some of the legacy employees dismayed at the rapid deterioration of the work/management environment for manufacturing workers since RFMD took full control.
Only 50 listed on the Warn notice to be let go this week. But the good news is no one in HR is on the list.
