It's been a Rediculous joke for along time.
Corporate makes it so hard on the average person to move ahead in a career that it should be a crime, now people are hurting as a result.
I'd rather have a beer store up north someplace quiet than deal with this too, I get it. I just won't drive anything made by GM. That's that.
Screw these corporations!! Let them hire who they want, those places are for the weak minded. Bunch of backstabbing people trying to get one over on each other, while they mentally try and break you down with a stupid rating system. One day, mark my words, people will go back to working for small businesses. These corporations try and make you conform to their goals and objectives as mentioned in other posts, it's non sense. They also try and pedal their over priced products and services to the employee, attempting to financially trap you. I'm over it already!!!
The get woke, go broke movement is just getting started. Companies that are starting to follow this nonsense, will eventually find themselves poorer in the long run.
Here's a beautiful article where one college was sued, and had a 30-40 million dollar verdict against it. Some companies are folding up. Other companies are significantly losing sales and customers. Beautiful.

Token movement in full effect. It's affirmative action for every race and gender, outside of a white male. It's happening in the movies, video games, it's happening in Corporate America. Promote a gender or race not based on skill set, but to check a box to meet business racial metrics. When you reward last place candidates, the outputs tends to be last place. The term is get woke, go broke, and its well deserved.
Don't get me started on the phobia and 'nistic/racial words. First one to bring up the topic in a real world encounter, IS that person. Drop the phobia nonsense. Most people have zero clue what it even means. It's the fear of something. If you like coke but hate sprite, you aren't a spritaphobic, you just don't effing like sprite. You want nothing to do with it.
We have too many clueless with too much say within society. Too many screeching banchees whining about anything and everything, and the Chivilrish standing by watching the childish nonsense. Agree both are tokens for GM. Get a real car guy in GM and maybe things will turn around. Too damn much diversity and EEO and other BS going on today. The most qualified folks don't get the job anymore hence these dinosaur companies are flailing and falling apart. Problem is no one can do, say or act anymore today without becoming a homo phobe, racist, feminist, or some other label that don't make sense for the person stating real facts.
That new CFO needs to go along with Barra. She had a lot to do with the firings, I think it was actually her idea. As long as she’s around, there will be more.
