Yes, we know the HCL changes are going to ruin customer relationships and the company. Yes, Xerox is throwing money at us to keep focused during this transition. I’ll make more this year than I have the last 15 with GIS/XBS/Xerox. Yes, I feel bad my income is going up while yours is going down or you are losing your job. I also know after almost 30 years in this industry, Xerox is nearing death. My opportunity and yours is dwindling. We sales people are scared too. We know this is the end. I’ve seen this company go from 150,000 employees internationally to under 30,000 now during the past ten years. The admin and support people in my office made this company and opportunity for me so successful. Losing them to HCL, my customer base and career will evaporate to nothing as it’s already started doing. Joining IT services at the end of the game after all our competitors have entered and developed the market already, leaves us little room to grow fast profitably. Buying Vader (a nothing father/son company without a growth plan) will lead to no growth. This was a stock growth ploy. Current leadership is as unskilled at running the company as prior leadership. Who wants to bet on the over/under of the company hitting a total remaining 15,000 employees?

You forgot about the fact that when sales people are laid off they only get 2 weeks severance.
Great post, we are all losers in this game as the game was rigged from the getgo with Johnny V being the ultimate winner
It is sad as I will be losing my job after giving my all for 17 years
Sales will not last with having to deal with a team in Guatemala with no experience, very little know how and no sense of urgency
Honestly I've already checkec out
Great post and good perspective. I am pretty sure that vast majority of Xerox folk are on the same page. There are a number of people in a situation where they cannot leave or it is a difficult situation - to them I say, now is your time - you make the decision for your own future for yourself instead of having it decided for you in the form of a pink slip. Think long term. Be smart. No loyalty.
Xerox is going down exactly like Radio Shack did, the plus about Radio Shack there employees got severance pay when closed down . Xerox got rid of this because of there 3 Stooges CEOs....
