Let’s discuss who should be cut next! That would be none other than our fearless leaders, Marvin and Joe. These knucklehead failed execs came to us with a plan. What is that plan exactly? Copy Home Depot’s every move!! Perhaps you two missed that whole “sea of sameness” presentation a few years back. Remember the one where it says that if we try to mimic other retailers, we will fail? * cough circuit city*...
So what does Marv and Joe end up doing? Copying our competitor (who just happens to have a stock price that is more than double our own)... and somehow they expect us to just overtake them as they clutter our stores, alienate the homeowner, and fire our associates.
I’m not sure who is truly in charge, but it’s time to cut Marv and everyone single one of his Depot cronies.
Imagine if Marv and Joe we’re driving the titanic.. They not only would have hit that iceberg, but they would have burned the lifeboats to cut excess weight so we didn’t sink quite as fast! That’s the mind frame these out of touch nimrods have!
Fire them while there is still a chance to salvage what we once knew was a decent company to work for. Otherwise, continue on your path and within 3 years the company will no longer exist.
