Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Not Nice People

I was warned in advance about the practices within Lowes. I wanted to see for myself, as a full retiree with plenty of money, I took a FSA job to actually see the injustice that people had expressed to me. After one year and incredible anguish I report that Lowes is extremely non caring about the individual that gives assistance to the common public. The very point of existence is to by all that you can and someone will buy it from you. They typically hire individuals that are "Down on their luck" or "Are unprepared parents" that will tolerate the abuse of no breaks and swing hours. The no t-b-cco use on property is interesting in it's self. If you are one of their confidants you can consume t-b-cco, if you are not "Good Luck"
This is probably 40% of my observations with this company. I plan in my retirement to work for as many companies as I am able to report the wrongs we need to now about. repairable or not!!!

Most people don’t understand that now people are forced to buy medical insurance. It’s a sliding scale the more you make, the more you pay for the same insurance plan. So as people get toward retirement and don’t want to put up with the mental grind, which is as tough as the physical one in retail, they take part time jobs.

I was shocked to find out if I make the same as I made full time at Lowe’s, I pay over $750 a month for my health insurance. If I work part time and make a little less than half, I pay $200 a month. Great system..:. I can save $6600 by working less and having more time with my family.

Just wait till Medicare for all. Medigap or supplemental, insurance costs about the same as a regular health insurance policy. But it only pays for the 20% that Medicare doesn’t pay, want pr-scrip-ion coverage? That costs more.

Typical baby boomer! No need to work but they are bored. Instead of finding a hobby, they take jobs from people who actually need them to feed the family/pay the bills. They loaf around Lowe’s like we owe them something. They had a lifetime of great paying jobs(no college necessary) and super cheap housing which destroyed the economy. They still like to rub it in everyone else’s faces.

So you take jobs away from people that really need them to survive just so you can do a little experiment? You sir, are an arse. You "have plenty of money" so sit back and enjoy it and leave jobs open for the ones who need to feed their families.
