If AVAYA proceed's with the CD&R PE buyout in conjunction with RingCentral then it is all over for Avaya employees and partners. RC does not need Avaya except perhaps to offer a marketing program that migrates the Avaya base to the RC UCaaS cloud. If AVAYA management goes forth with this option it would be shameful. How many employees are at Avaya, 6,000 or so?

Its final that Mitel will merge with Avaya.

I know it is all speculation but I think Avaya will be split up and sold off in chunks. Not sure if the Avaya logo will remain at all. I do know that if Mitel is an acquirer it will be a disaster much like the Avaya Nortel acquisition. Avaya could not swallow Nortel and basically became a rebranded Nortel business. I don't think Mitel can absorb Avaya without huge problems and the remaining customer base moving to other service providers.

Mitel is committed to its Shoretel cloud platform. Avaya customers will want none if that.

Avaya Holdings Corp. is expected* to report earnings on 08/13/2019 before market open. The report will be for the fiscal Quarter ending Jun 2019. According to Zacks Investment Research, based on 3 analysts' forecasts, the consensus EPS forecast for the quarter is $0.61. The reported EPS for the same quarter last year was $0.41.
Earnings to be announced 8/13. We will know the outcome then.

Yeah right on the verge of declaring chapter 7 secretly. And looks like all the loyal employees who used to post messages on this site have already left Avaya. I pity about the guys who keep visiting this site but unaware about the fact that this ship will sink for sure. God bless America.
