I have heard late August- early September. More IT and def corporate people (finance, lawyers etc) will be hit hard.
Not sure about engineers (I was laid off in February but have have job since)
Can anybody confirm this? If its true, anybody have any more details on it? Any info would be great.

Take the deal and find another job, and enjoy the double salary for the next 2 years
2 and 2...2 years of salary and 2 years of watered down benefits. If you pass, you risk getting handed "the box".
Has anyone heard about HR? We have so many HR 8th levels and directors left I’m afraid they will finally target HR harder this time.
Normally the package gets worse in subsequent offers not better.
