Enough with the high belt lines and technology that nobody wants and doesn’t work very well. Take the entertainment system in my 2018 Traverse - you need a PhD to figure it out! In a Honda Odyssey - it “just works”. Quit investing in self driving cars and just build the best cars and trucks at reasonable prices! Market them smartly (early-mid 80s Oldsmobile marketing was masterful. Late 80s and beyond Olds marketing is like the rest of GM - awful - missing the mark with customers) It’s just that simple!!!

Imagine buying a $65k pickup, getting laid off, and being reminded of how dumb you were every month when you make the payments over the next 7 years of the loan.
True. Before the layoff I remember hearing from a young engineer bragging about buying a $65k pickup. I just shook my head.
Wonder if he's still working.
@10eEE6nd-1dkr That's why GM can get away with selling $80,000 Silverados. They have a captive audience who won't buy anything else.
@10eEE6nd-1nvn: sounds like you really want a Yugo.
GM cars don't sell on the Coasts, where people care about good design and quality.
Most buyers are conservatives in the Midwest who hate change and always buy the same truck, year after year, and who like to think they're patriots for "buying American", even when their trucks are built in Mexico.
First company to build a nice looking vehicle (exterior), with minimal $$$ features (air, steering wheel, engine), would take over the market.
People don't want expensive or complicated. People want affordable and simplistic.
If GM offered a POS chevy cruise with a steering wheel and an engine for $3000, even I might give it some consideration.
Rental car companies hahaha
It's totally true, GM cars s— the big Wang dong
No one wants to buy a car that was built for car rental companies.
I think that it is not a smart question. Considering notorious GM reputation & GM management who are cheating and doing bad things, you can answer the question by yourself!
