So it is open secret that the Design Enablement department in Singapore has been playing Pokémon-go openly in groups for the past 3 years pretty much most of the time and really you barely see them working.
I heard that someone complained and HR did an audit. Guess what, the HR audit came back negative. Just can’t believe the HR department is willing to go so far to hide the truth. If the HR is like that, what hope do we have that the management will speak the truth?
So.....fire all of them for being too relaxed?
Lol at Ghandi, I was in DE department for 4 yrs before leaving. Most of us don’t even work more than 4 hrs/day and we have a lot of smts and above. The money is easy and we don’t have to worry much about cost cutting as we report to CTO. If not because of career advancement, I would retire in GF (or whatever name it will be in coming yrs).

I got 5 things to say to you.
First, who do you think you are to say that hr is hiding the truth?
Secondly, is your life that boring that you need to mind other people’s lives just to make yours a bit more interesting?
Third, are you completely sure you are not doing non-work related things during office hours, e.g. facebook, browsing the net, calling someone aside from emergency, so on? ~He who is without sin among you, let him first cast the a stone at her.
Fourth, if those playing are still doing their work excellently, meaning no delays or quality issues, shouldn’t you give them medals or awards instead for having a balanced work-life?
Lastly, get a life man!
Not all functional groups is like that 'good life'. To be fair, operation teams are very tough in gf, while those support team incl HR
generally many of them are enjoying and having good life there like those lunch time activities etc.
Imagine those attending the lunch time dance or yoga spent one hr there Then klkk go shower and having lunch, some even take the free lunch bus go out. Can imagine what time these group of people resume their work. How long the allowable lunch time according to HR policy? During working time still can play games somemore ¡¡¡ Have chance I also want to join the support team in gf woh.
Work life balance?
How is pokemon any different from the on shift pingpong leagues or going to the gym on "lunch"? Relax vendors will take care of everything!
