Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

Morale

How are we expected to keep morale up when the axe can fall again at any time, on anyone left. Only made worse by the now frequent customer calls or comments asking if/when our store is closing.

Good luck with fixing morale. How are people supposed to feel when one week are told no more layoffs then the next week brings layoffs. Does not build a culture of trust.

The moral left when certain folks left 2 years ago, new folks are trying to wear pants that they will never fit into. The first round of cuts was lets save my friends who I like, not strategic, You eliminated the COO (Should have been done 2 years ago), but you still have a CTO and CIO. hmmmmmmm????? It think its time for a complete overhaul. If not they will be out of business in 2 years.
