Docs dated Sept 10 at the integration website under change of control. The towhall misinformed on CoC process. There is a new process to inquire if you qualify. No longer you are resigning right away. It should have never been the case that applying for CoC = resignation.
Where is this documentation saying how generic the jobs are regarding the COC?

By scanning one can see more older employees in Anadarko than Oxy. Can people count the amount of millennials Oxy placed in management role? It was not after Oxy offered VSPs...they were placed a few months before.
Yes, we now have documentation that jobs are as generic they can be. To make it harder to qualify for CoC. A doctor is a doctor, a carpenter is a carpenter, and an engineer is an engineer. So after hearing that c-apola, go to the cardiologist to get treated for anxiety which is causing a heart attack; why go to the psychologist to get treated for anxiety? Over the top! Put a bandaid for a year.
Well I’ve heard they are starting to have an oh sh!@ moment because they realize the herd is running for the door. Starting to try to talk people out of taking the VSP. This wagon wont roll without the workhorses with the skills. Unfortunately no real incentive to stay for most folks. Stay tuned; there’s surely more moments to come!
Oxy HR has been unimpressive so far. They are slow and if they say something is going to be done one day then add another week to it. Consensus around the halls is that their HR department probably lacks the skill set, experience, or interest to handle any of this transition. It will be a painful few months.

They need to hurry up, waiting is the worst part of this entire process

Despite the fact that Oxy HR said they was be processed on an ongoing rolling basis believe none of it. They are so f’ing incompetent that it will likely be a longtime before anyone leaves via this program. There are many people that could walk out yesterday (and want to) that will sit around collecting several more Oxy paychecks because of their incompetence.
I think it might be a couple more weeks before the severance packages are processed
