Thread regarding State Farm Insurance layoffs

Injury minions

Interesting to see that the last few fired that I know of are at or over 50 with good reviews at last rating period. The get one person out, hire two more off the street for same salary. It seems like this was the plan all along, make people so miserable they leave ( points, metrics) then bring in people off the street that don't know any better.

Wake up!! They don't care that they are losing talent, that is the plan!! The do more with less mentality means the customer is getting half -a service because their claim handler has an unmanageable workload and is just hoping not to get fired!!

Ripe conditions for an age discrimination suit or for a union.

Only two cs's in my demand that are not in the lower third of the salary range. No experience left to lay off. Need to find those savings elsewhere now.

Any unions that tried to be formed before...mysteriously, all those people trying to unionize were fired for random things.

Seen this done with many companies before. Good for them in the short run but will come back and bite them hard in the behind in the long run.

Injury doesn’t have points anymore, just Express and ILR I believe.

Keep your union, let me know when the class action is settled so I can pick up my settlement..
