Has anyone heard from corporate if any Sears stores in New York are planning on being axed in the coming months? Locations include Horseheads, Newburgh, Poughkeepsie, and White Plains.

I am very surprised that a smaller B store like Newburgh has survived this long while many other Sears stores in the Hudson Valley and Northern NJ area have closed.
What is the company's reasoning to keep a smaller B store open that does not really bring in that much money for the company?
@ixhg that means one or the other is probably toast, find the lower rent of the two and that one will probably go
White Plains seems to be one of the few areas of the country with a Sears AND Kmart.
From what I saw on Facebook...
- The one in horseheads is pretty dead as far as business but looks pretty nice and the mall isn’t entirely dead. Still location wise it’s not bad. I haven’t been to it in years. There is a YouTube video of it but I couldn’t find it. It’s the Arnot mall.
- The buffalo store is in the McKinley mall. I read got a lease discount along with JC Penney when Bon Ton closed at that mall and it fell below a 50% occupied anchor store threshold or something to that effect, the mall owner is also bankrupt and probably in no capacity to fight Eddie in court over some old lease agreement. The mall is basically dead on the inside and more like a plaza now according to Facebook. The area is well built up and busy the store itself is fairly busy and probably lower rent than horseheads after the cut. Doesn’t mean Eddie won’t squat on the lease of an empty store as he’s done before though. As far as I know the lease doesn’t expire until next year or the year after. I suspect Eddie is holding out for an offer on this one. Unless the whole chain goes I’d be surprised if he closes it before the mall gets new owners and agreements in place with any sort of potential buyout. This one might make it until mid next year. I couldn’t find much of an account of the other stores though. I had seen some stuff on White Plains at one time but I can’t find it now.
I have a friend that lives near Poughkeepsie that could probably ask around to see if he can find anything out,
Based on the number of closings by Eddie, I doubt very much those stores will survive.
