It’s a one way street. They will only come to you when they are finished with you. Not the other way around. Stop working and or do little and you’ll get a package soon or to expedite, go online on Social Media and start disparaging the company publicly. Speak only facts and focus on layoffs and morale. That will get you a parachute.
Is NetApp currently offering any voluntary layoff packages? They don't advertise it but then again they try like heck to hide the layoffs... Or maybe they're just terrible at communications in general.
Because with the lack of oversight, it’s easy to do nothing until you a package is offered. I’m just waiting to be laid off. In the mean time I have built a successful online business. Thanks NetApp!

The layoff is a lie.
I know that one VP left for a once in a lifetime opportunity. Sure, you can still say it’s because NetApp is doomed but that was not a factor in this departure.
