You're in trouble at GM if you're over 40, never mind 60.
If you’re 60 or older or even near it, you’re on the hit list, make no mistake. Healthcare is not only a hot election issue, it’s an issue of maintaining margins especially with big corporations. One way to trim rising healthcare costs is to lop off the older demographics of your workplace. Upper management will never admit same fearing age discrimination legal problems but you can bet it’s a hot button ploy in the boardroom.
So if you’re 60ish, get proactive now on planning your next career or wait for the ax to fall on your a–.
Just learned two more people have quit at CCA. These are part of the prized under-35 group GM has worked so hard to court. I guess all of the fundraising, team builders, in-cubicle basketball hoops and Game Show days (all on work time, naturally) weren’t enough to keep these employees from recognizing what their futures would look like if they stayed on. I wish them well. Sadly, the older, hard working folks who continue to put up with GM and stay loyal get rewarded with a boot out the door. I hope everyone left is planning their exit strategy. They will need it.

the power is with the diversity and alphabet people. even Walmart know it's better to ban guns to get on the democ-ap power wagon than it is to sell guns to god fearing americans who cling to guns, bibles, and other old fashioned values. Mary and GM's diverse leadership want those deplorables to buy a self driving Bolt that will take them to prison when they violate one of mary's maoist cultural values.
Going to Washington was probably about keeping EV subsidies going as much as anything.
I think the story tells itself. How many unprofitable markets have they pulled out of, and how many profitable yet remain? None worth mentioning aside from US and China.
With GM alienating everyone in the US, for hopes of the Golden goose of China, its only a matter of time before that market becomes saturated or turns downed, is tamed, and then in time becomes just like every other country around the world where they too, can't profit.
When you alienate everyone, there's no one left for your products.
GM has ‘gany’ culture, replacing 40-60 management is ONLY way to rebirth. It is painful, but it is a hope. Hardworking people are not respected and fired in GM. Who will respect and buy GM? Please wake up, the surgical operation is needed!
Most people dont care about how the company treats the employees.
That's why they still buy sneakers made in sweatshops in China by 12 year old girls for a dollar a day.

Dispite what we feel, it's the word on the street that matters. GM monitors these responses, just as they monitor all market additions. It's the reason only recently, they
lied to the public, that investors no longer matter. People are waking up, and you can't put to sleep an awoke mind.
It was my pleasure to hear from someone only this Labor Day, nine to eleven months since the first GM layoff, that they became an advocate against the company entirely. I stated this was happening, and would continue to happen. His story of his family member being dismissed from GM, made him an advocate against. This is not a weak minded individual, he is a UAW worker and he brings the story up in his sphere of influence often. The stories I hear are amazing, how outsiders have no idea how employees are treated, but they listen to the right candidate, and about 50/50 are persuaded to change their tune as we can see. It brings a blessed tune to my ears, in which evil set upon mankind is destroyed.
As a family who purchases four to five vehicles within our cycle, I can attest as God as my witness, GM will never be one of those purchases simply due to their lack of employee careness standard. Employee wages account ONLY for less than 3% of a vehicle purchase, yet it's made out to be significantly more. Its illusion is always made on behalf of the magician. Those that wake up, can no longer be tricked.
Mary and CFO Indian are token hires. They will also be remembered as the company falls into the abyss. Get woke, go broke.
