GE Culture in 4 words - Take Credit, Blame others

I am really sick of the toxic work environment in O&G (from leftover finance folks), who fit the title. Does HR even care to change despite repeated complaints. I am hearing most of the CASholes have either left or kicked out.

It is time GE introspected and promoted meritocracy over promoting CASholes to EB roles.

And what is with all these freaking CFOs. We need one CEO, one CFO, not bunch of jokers.

Well, this is true, but the 'good' news is that this is pretty much all of the big corporate America. Including the government. So we are competing on a level field, and in the end will be alright, or will go down all together as a country when chinks take over.

the more toxic the better. Backstabbing your buddies has great appeal.

I think the Board has a pretty good idea how much Flannery did for GE.
They communicated their conclusions about his performance as clearly as possible.

You have no idea how much Flannery did for GE.

this is not the leftover finance people. this is ingrained GE "culture". none of this will change until Culp (or his successor, as he hasn't done much more than Flannery in his time) cleans house

Yes!!! You are so correct! It’s also the reason GE is in a serious slump! Take your talent and leave!

If you are not a GE Leadership person, your chances of advancement to upper management is "0". Regardless of how talented you are and how hard you work.
