Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

I hope the Layoff GM doesn't delete this post on me... Trump just gave a warning to GM, come back to US

Being an avid follower of government and media - here is my prediction. Our President just left a hint for GM Leadership, to change now or suffer the consequences of bad decisions and poor leadership.

What can happen?

  1. 1977 International Economic Act - he enables it soon and GM loses 43% very fast
  2. Devaluation of Chinese Currency
  3. GM alienates a generation of future customers based on what they did
  4. probably alot more including major layoffs happening at company to adjust for the losses coming from CEO an CFO's choices

Sorry for my prediction, to make this amazing would be to predict the amount of time this will happen in. Only guessing 30-60 days on no.1.

Today Mary has a meeting at the Whitehouse, hoping she leaves in handcuffs heading for jail with her CFO. Then she can call her friends in China for help, but they won't pick up the phone is my guess.

Interviewed this morning for a major telecom in Germany. How ironic that I assumed I would retire in Detroit and be a major part of the communities great change with the next 15 years of my career. Feb2019 changed that for me there was no rhyme or reason to why I lost my job.

On the human side of it, I really loved my job and building American jobs. Guess I was intensive and didn't understand how bad and selfish leadership in Detroit is.

When all those manufacturing CEOs went to the White House to meet with President Trump and then shortly after Mary spoke to all the employees and said, literally, the words “don’t worry” when talking about the council that was formed - then it disbanded shortly after.

I’m betting a certain someone still in the White House with a special round office hasn’t forgotten about that.
