How is Nordstrom expecting to pay lease for new nyc store? Any concerns seeing Barney’s results??

Perpetuation of the physical store mindset - id–tic leaders running with 20th century mindset in 21st. Need to shift momentum to online and cut the fat everywhere - start with merch ops first. Merch has some 200+ people that can be brought down to maybe 30-50. Trim the engineering - low performers out, cut the TPM org and let PDM work with engineers directly. Make me CTO and I will shape the place :) Edmond and Expedia folks need to go. Supply chain guy knows nothing about supply chain.
Blake explained to our group once that the company spent $400 million for the real estate in Midtown.
10-Q reports have suggested that Nordstrom has some shared, significant liability for the condos above the store. Potential disaster lurking there, to be sure.
