Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Joe Mcfarland needs to be terminated

I'm deeply offended by his comments. As a hispanic employee I feel marginalized by his racist comments. We are forced to sit through equality meetings where corporate espouses inclusion and diversity but at the top we are proven to have a bigot.

If an hourly employee or manager at a Lowe's store made the same comment they would be fired. If they do not terminate Joe then they have no credibility and have opened the door to other employees to say or do things that can be harmful.

This is not right. If I were to say something similar and be terminated and Joe stays in position I would sue. Be who you say you are Joe.

I've been with Lowe's for 11 years and I've seen good people let go for Less, fire the millionaire, teach those good old boys lesson. What's good for the goose is good for the gander!

His comment was pure stereotyping. Plain and simple. Showed his true colors, and those of his friends / colleagues. If Lowe's does nothing, then shame on them. It's not the 1st action of racism either!

They created the All In nonsense to give the illusion that they aren't racists, but actions continually prove opposite.

I'm sure you've never EVER made a mistake. Never said a joke that could be considered offensive or off the mark. You've never said something that you regret. He immediately apologized for the comments. He should be documented as you would be have you done the same thing.
The difference is you must be perfect in every aspect of you're life. If that is true, then I envy your perfection.
