How’s the shrink in stores since they got rid of us LP? I’ve heard it’s almost tripled. Best of luck to all who still work at Lowe’s Depot

We have an lp manager and most stores put the lp csa in tools and have them keep doing lp
Shrink is a dirty word anymore.. Joe refers to it as "Margin Loss" when we have to be on the a– chewing calls for missing plan. YES Shrink is way out of control and getting worse by the day as is safety.
we have fewer employees and no real security in the store. every day i come into millwork and see a dozen or more empty boxes of tools , scres, whatever lying between the merchandise.
Lol. My god people on these boards are so stupid. Shrink is barely up this year. The company has to document and allow auditors to review. If you listened to the earnings call the company called out a .01% in shrink. Home Depot’s is up .09%. Get your facts right people and put your emotions in check.
Shrink is going great. We have so much stuff that just disappears on a daily basis. Billing out thousands in IRP’s. Makes it very easy to put away freight though as the shelves are always empty. Lol.
I'd imagine shrink rates, before they cook the numbers and falsify DOCUMENTS, are near 1.5-2.50% shrink to sales. That is a VERY conservative estimate.
They always "find savings", every year..like "oh we just 'found' $100,000 in appliances in the back, we can add that back to the store to lower our shrink numbers..
They routinely do all kinds of shady things. The supposed auditor that verifies the numbers after inventory, doesn't even catch it....I've always wondered how they continually get away with it year over year.
My store likes to say “yes!” We’ll take that back; bought it at Home Depot, we’ll take it back! Bought it at Walmart? Target? Not sure? Yes! We’ll take it back! As long as you rate us a 10 on the LTR survey!
Shrink? Who cares, just rate us a 10 on the LTR! Anything else is failure.
