Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Class Actions?

On finance.yahoo.com, we can see more than 10 law firms are calling investors to take Class Actions because of the stock price drop:

On this news, the Company's stock fell from $57.71 on August 1, 2019 to $46.04 on August 2, 2019- a $11.67 or 20.22% drop.
The lawsuit focuses on whether the Company and its executives violated federal securities laws by making materially false and/or misleading statements, as well as failing to disclose material adverse facts about the Company's business, operations, and prospects.

I lost 20K USD, should I participate one of these legal actions? Anyone else?

There’s a lot of deadweight at NetApp. Many are laying low collecting the dough as they say. Management oversight is lacking. Always has been the case. SMH

I don’t care of the let me go. At least it will come with a severance package. I’ll put it this way. I’m done. Dead weight. I’ll do very little for NetApp going forward. I’ll be vocal for all of us. I don’t need NetApp. I work to keep busy. I have a trust fund.

Lawsuit is filed it seems. No internal memo so far. Leadership is probably scrambling. No getting around this battle. Our CFO and CEO need to go. This is b u l l sh–. They have destroyed us. I’m speaking up in our next all hands. Time for answers.

I personally believe the company has already been sold. There’s a contract in place or something propelling leadership to disband. If it was transformation related, we would hear more details regarding the future plans in general. Thomas Stanley exited on his terms for greener pastures elsewhere. Joel was the last original founder to disband. He left voluntarily as well. As we all know, it’s been lip service and shell games for the recent past. I’m actively interviewing with external firms and hope to disband within 30 days. I encourage the rest of you to do the same.

Take FMLA for six weeks then punch and jump. You net more income than working full time due to no taxes being withheld. You might get lucky and get laid off resulting in a lot more money for nothing. Leave on your terms the smart way. FMLA is your right.
