There should be a law that cadems companies from laying off employees if there making billions of dollars. In this world what goes around comes around. For all the furloughed employees I hope everyone of you can better your life. To the money hungry corporate greed people. I hope someday you get a taste of what you've done to people's lives;;;

No what made people unhappy at UP was Fritzzzz and his relentless enforcement of the rules by way of FTX program! Why was the Upgrade system so bad? Managers were forced to find issues with employees! Not correct the people because they did't know the right way .So stupid.

I cant wait to get laid off! I already got jobs lined up better than the f#ckUP! However, I won't quit! If I get laid off, at least I'll have something to fall back on when f#ckUP calls me back!

Actually the inspection times are 1.3 for inbound and 1.4 for outbound inspections. But PLEASE remember that every repair you get on a car allows you the anout of time allotted to do said repair, which means it extended the amount of time you have to work on tha5 train. Dont let these mo–ns make you work around your job. They may be able to send you home for doing your job by the book, but they are gonna have to write you one hell of a check when they do.

No one is happy at the up. I hired on in 04 and never understood the older employees hatred of management. I do now.

It's hard to be happy as a UP Employee while this PSR stuff is going on. It doesn't matter if you've been here for five years or twenty years with all the changes going on. The point of seniority has always been about being able to have the job you wanted with the off-days you wanted. Now you have a choice of a relief job with Friday Saturday off that covers third shift on Thursday and first shift on Sunday or if you're lucky enough a job that stays on one shift and has Tuesday and Wednesday off.

People are being sent home and coached for sitting down to drink water in 90 degree weather. Car men are being watched in cameras by management to make certain they're not taking any longer than sixty seconds per car on an inspection. Yardmasters are wailing over the radio instructing crews to do so many tasks at once, and then complaining when they forget the instructions they gave even though the crews are performing those tasks. It's confusing, its aggravating, and it's incredibly unsafe.
