Received a text from my friend that she was layedoff this morning upon arrival at the FL office. She said they were hitting the director level today with more lay-offs coming

Dublin has been hit as well.
Several colleagues are not responding to email or slack. They are not on PTO, I’m concerned they have been layedoff
Citrix has around 8000 employees worldwide. Get serious with the number of layhoff : 8 250. !!!!!!

I’m not surprised. Citrix is keeping all layoffs stealth under the radar these days so unless you poll everyone nobody can tell what is going on.

Can anyone else corroborate this? I have asked around and have seen no evidence of this happening. Obviously I do not know all the people at the director level, but all the ones I do know seem to still be at Citrix.
They would start with Directors because they are all non-SAP folks and promoted because they know someone at a Citrix or have been buddies with previous employees that got them the title.
Look at this company and executive team. They are all SAP execs and now at Citrix. Only one left that is non SAP is The CEO/Legal/HR. Can’t really get rid of them, yet.......lol
If there are going to be large scale layoffs, I am surprised they would start with Director level. You would think they would help coordinate the layoffs.
Is this true? Being they just announced a new CFO.... If so, he’ll look good already cutting costs!!!
Reached out to a colleague in Santa Clara that was not responding to email and found out he was let go today as well. He was also at the director level. Don’t know if it is systemwide but stealth layoffs are definitely happening
