Thread regarding Bed Bath & Beyond layoffs

I worked for this company for 13 years. I saw the writing on the wall when they started getting rid of some of the department manager positions. I got out in 2014 while I had the chance. This was a great place to work back in the day. We had a lot of fun. It’s sad to see what they’ve done to people that were the backbone of the company. The every day employees that put in all of the work. BBB refused to change with the times and now they are paying the price. It’s just sad, retail in general. I really hope things can change around for them, but when they refuse to get rid of S$&@ managers that are sinking their own stores what can you do? Good luck everyone! To anyone feeling stuck there are better things out there! I promise. Once in a while the grass IS greener.
