Hours for both positions being cut from full time to part time. It started with lower volume stores and now it's spreading even to A volume stores. Cashiers will now process RTVs at the front end, and you know what's been happening with the No Ticket initiative. I called it when they first announced it... It was to get the stores ready to not "need" a full time inventory control associate.
Same will happen to other full time positions in the company. All but management will be part time. I worked at Circuit City until the very end, and the same things I saw there are happening here. My biggest regret is not leaving sooner. I have interviews lined up, hoping to get out soon. Good luck to everyone.
