Any updates with vision after the pharmacy cuts?

The Health Fairs are a joke, we never convert any of that time to $$$. Intercept are a joke, is there really anyone who has been shopping in a Walmart and doesn't know they have a VC?
Lenscrafters makes big bucks because the have 1. Have Dr's full time coverage. 2. Have a great marketing with internet and tv promotions. They don't have people running around the mall harassing customers that don't care.
People buy glasses and contacts when they have pr-scrip-ions...If Walmart has Dr coverage this is the catalyst for $$$. Everything else is a waste of time and payroll all the other players in the industry know that because they have Opticians in the ranks not pharmacist.
Anybody else ever notice that the company does nothing.....NOTHING.....to help us grow the business and then rages that we are personally responsible for the failure to meet their unrealistic sales metrics!!!
As if pestering shoppers with flyers and coupons when they're trying to do their shopping will actually accomplish anything but irritating our members.
smh
Nothing new, NEVER nothing new. Now we’re having mandatory meetings that have to be completed by the end of the month and guess what?? It’s simply a rehash on how to do insurances and back to school 🙄. They’ll just keep plugging along, nagging about the lack of sales (lots of stores have no doctors) and to high of payroll, which wouldn’t be a problem if we had sales. Waiting patiently for something new to hit this site lol.
It will be 3-party just like Pharmacy in the future.
Sooner or later vision will be affected. Look at the payroll and overhead walmart would save. On line contact and eyglass sales are taking over the industry.
