Thread regarding Resideo Technologies layoffs

Anyone see the products Town Hall

What a joke. Its clear sales are going way down and we are losing customers by the boat load. We "found" the money to make up for the huge drop in Q2 but what happens this quarter? Not even a mention of the multiple product release misses and dates getting pushed out months at a time. So bad even the clueless CTO and whoever the guy trying to run the Software group is didnt speak at the "products town hall"

On the upside.....could ND be more awkward with his nervous laugh and bad jokes? It was painful to watch....

Then they announce the person who coordinated the mad rush to move money around to make the Q2 disaster look Ok announces shes leaving the company....

Is that a band I hear playing on the deck???? Women and children first.....

Thoughts?

What scares me is if we move money around and find unusual levels of sales to make your quarterly numbers whats the plan for next quarter since there's NO WAY you are going to pull that off ever again. As for the "major" acquisitions.....we have never been good at integrating acquisitions whether its their technologies (we are already failing at this with the new ones) or integrating small companies.
BTW, these major acquisitions are like 4 person companies...and we still cant do it. ..LOL...K1ll3r new products. we never have and especially now, never will have one. Not game changing...game over. If I were running this dog pile I would start thinking about selling anything whats worth anything because value is all down hill from here. We dont even have any talent that can at least give us a shot.

If you have to "move money around" the first year in the existence of a company to keep a quarterly report from looking awful it doesn't bode well for the future, unless you have some k–ler new products that are going to ale a huge impact in the market immediately. Well I guess those of us that are closest to it know that isn't happening. It will be interesting to see how they spin it on the earnings call. They will probably try to highlight the "major" acquisitions that were done to show that they are game changing and will pay big dividends in the future, and then they'll come up with another spin next quarter.
