Thread regarding L3 Technologies layoffs

Signage

Are there any L3Harris facilities with PERMANENT signage? Seems odd they can print badges months in advance, but the signs are all temporary banners draped over the legacy signs. Wondering if this is just specific to my location or if this is across all segments.

I was told by a former executive that if you have a temporary sign and still have a division President and not a GM your division is probably on the sell list

The former L3 CSW facility across the street from Harris corporate headquarters has a sign with a couple 4x4s and a sheet of plywood while across the street corporate headquarters has fancy signs and a sculpture.

I found a Boeing sign hidden on the second floor at CSW. I Looked like a metal sign but I'm not sure if it's old or if it is going to be used for something else. I and other co workers thought that was strange

The signage in Mason is all temporary - and the site is being "spruced up" with fresh paint, new handrails, etc. Also we have had a significant (near total) work slowdown with huge absences as people want to avoid being seen just sitting around.

The facilities with the temporary signage are the ones scheduled to closed and the processes within transferred or sold. Enjoy your unemployment.

Based on what I heard that only corporate has a permanent signage. It might be temporal since some business are going to be divested before the end of the year. It doesn't make sense to force a permanent signage if the business is going to be sold in a few months.
