I'm hearing a lot of uncertainty, but looks like Mobile Sups are out, new floor lead position will open as a key carrier, some VPL positions are gone, Home Theater SUP gone, lead positions are being limited per rev band stores. Lots of jobs at risk.

I’ve been with BB for just over 5 years. I won 4 consecutive Achievers, before going in a work comp injury leave in December. I found out my job role (HT Lead) was being terminated. I had one week to apply and get rehired. My store didn’t rehire me and now I am forced to take a severance. Everything I worked so hard for has no been thrown away. To top it off, my own management team didn’t have the balls to tell me in person that they went with another candidate. I had to find out in a generated email I didn’t get the job.
Happened here as well back office, front end lead and asm-ops manager are all being liquidated into one position. It’s sad to see 20 year employees just cast out.
Any Mobile Sup D1 store know if they are eliminated?
This is happening. I worked in LifeStyles and had a lead then one day he just started working in computers , so I was most def lost on what was happening there til I was told someone gave him the heads up about leads not being needed anymore.
All true. Team leads just got fired, lifestyles split into 2 and merged with other departments. Departments are being rebranded into Computers, Connected Lifestyles and Home Entertainment. Losing a few good people. Makes me sad because I see best buy dangerously doing what gamestop did and I have several red flags going up.

It def happened. Big shakeup in my store, lots of leads scrambling for jobs. It's super sad they weren't given ft spots in their departments. You apply for a new spot or don't have a job. Messed up... Lost good vpls too.
