You heard it here first. This lay-off is for real and planned for May.
No wonder all the managers have disappeared this week for the resource stacking exercise.
Bless you if you are over 50 years old.

layoffs started in marketing last week. many more layoffs to come.
Anyone over 50 yrs is being targeted for termination.
FYI - Citrix employs about 9000 people worldwide. There’s some truth on this board, but separating it from the BS Only leaves about 30% of the postings. Be careful what you bite on.
Citrix to lay off nearly 15,000 workers in company-wide restructuring in May
I believe it. What’s been happening these past two weeks is just the beginning. The company plans on hiring more talented, computer savy, up-to-date employees and need to cut people who are not revenue generating. It’s goibgvto be a lot more layoffs.
Digital and content marketing. When will we get rid of the admin turned “Marketing Director”? SZ
What part of marketing was hit?
It’s not true that the best don’t get laid off. Each department or team can get cut back as someone has to go. A product or service can get cut back and good people go. There’s lots of politics and deal making involved. To survive you have to be on a team that is working in a growth area and be in good with a boss who has pull. If you get laid off what situation would you prefer, that you had been working really hard or that you had looked out for yourself?
yes its confirmed, one of my team member was laid off today.
Boy who cried wolf, much? More BS FUD. Either give some specifics or don't bother. Actually, how far back would you have to scroll on this site to find the last time there was a REAL layoff predicted where people actually lost their jobs (and not "oh one guy got let go today" because he probably wasn't doing a good job)?
Seems almost all of the posts here are either salty ex-employees or trolls from the competition.
One tip for you: when there are REAL layoffs, companies don't get rid of the best performers... If you're spending your time turning out quality work and being productive (as opposed to trolling on the interwebs), your odds of being laid off get substantially lower.
Marketing just lost about 6 heads.

I was told I had to reduce my workforce by 10%. I will lose good talent and am not happy about it.
