What happened? I cannot post on Lowe's Forum on Topix any more?
Do you know the reason? Did Lowes go after Topix and took the forum down?
Is this website our new forum? Where do we gather now?

We are congregating here right now. I just could not figure out Reddit, for me this format works much better - and there is much more discussion here.
Redit also has a forum, but it's pretty weak.
It’s also clear that topix has a hand in this forum too. They posted two of my topix threads word for word, but created them here as someone else. That was done post announcement of topix closing.
OP - Topix is down for everyone, they killed all forums. It's not only us.
We have discussed discontinuation of Topix forums a couple of times. Aside from TheLayoff you have no other alternatives right now, at least nothing similar to what we had on Topix.
I am listing two previous discussions below, you can see what happened and how things got where we are right now.
Topix was great for some time but it has gotten really bad with poor content being entered and it was polluted. They mod/administer this site and I am hoping we'll be able to
talk on some kind of site, and this may have to be it. You cannot create user IDs here, I asked them to enable that but they never responded so I am assuming it's not happening.
Also, if you are new here you will see threads disappearing, this is mostly due to people crossing the line when it comes to foul language or listing names (they do not allow any names or personal info). Other than that, it's a fairly open.
