I don’t get it. We are the only organization having layoffs..... what number are they trying to get down to....

Look at number of employees at our nearest competitors. EOG for example has one fifth the number of employees that we do. We have five or six times if not more employees than comparable E&P companies. This is what Wall Street keeps pointing out and what our management has to deal with. Until we get down to comparable numbers Wall Street is not going to let up.
P66 just had a big layoff in August. 100 or more people plus a bunch of contractors.
Look at all other O&G companies, NOBODY is laying off

They are trying to get down to all supervisors so we will truly be the most inefficient company in the business
