Thread regarding Ricoh layoffs

Ricoh Sr. Leaders Instruct all Managers to Lower Employee's Annual Reviews!

Talk about shady. Manangers were told they needed to lower all Employee Annual Performance Reviews. For example if were at top metrics performer and a valued team member and warranted an exceeds expectations you were given a meets. Managers were told to make something up on subjective areas in order to drive the ratings lower. Some managers refused but most followed what they were told to do. Ricoh.... So unethical.

New reviews out a few weeks ago. The numbers keep going lower. I'll be lucky to get 1-1.5%. A few others said the same.

Worst decision I ever made. Ricoh will continue to fail over the next two years. Channel conflict methodology creates team division! Icon management ruining company by protecting old Icon teammates. Management quits working 4th quarter of every year (Jan - march) to politically align themselves with the next years leadership direction. Ricoh is outsourcing their sales force. C---y, belligerent management that believes they are smarter than their customer. Ricoh cannot stop the bleeding! Ricoh's managed services is simply a low grade employee temp service at premium prices, $5,000 month charge for employees they pay $3,000 a month salary. Ricoh is a jack of all trades and master of one (copiers), unfortunately, customers don't want to print anymore because it no longer is necessary, sustainable or green! Just look at their recent layoffs or financials.

They are making the drivers network the printers now so they can get rid of more techs

Sounds typical, can only speak for how the Ricoh Massachusetts service and logistics managers operate, this a coward decision which is right up their alley.

You are not a valued employee, so they will either pay you less or not give you a salary increase. Typical of management.
