I'm to embarrassed to work here any longer. This is absolutely ridiculous.
I'm a very dependable employee. Overall,probably the most knowledgeable. motivated and dependable employee in the store. These managers are IDIOTS. Young kids that think they are educated, That don't know how to do anything,but look at a vital stat sheet all day.
They hire all these part time people that are lazy as a dead fish,

Our management team hides or buries their heads in a computer looking at non-work stuff. They get mad if they are asked a question. When they had the sign up for service manager training, it was a joke because they already had had picked a couple young kids with little lowes experience and no management experience. They wanted someone to be a robot and not ask questions. The management at Lowes is horrible all the way to the top. Unfortunately they propagate incompetence of the select "favorites" who are pushed up the ladder. In a real corporate world, these people would be fired long ago. They blatantly s-xually harass employees and discriminate against employees. Some of the comments that come out of them is so inappropriate. Does no good talking to HR because retaliation makes your life and your schedule worse. They just try to make you miserable so you will quit so no point in even speaking up. It is like working in a prison camp. .... shut up and do what I say. Don't follow the management examples or you will be fired because they lie, cheat and are lazy. Sad but true.

To the OP, you must work in my store! We have a SSM who gets a boner every time someone asks where the hardware department is; he thinks they are talking computer hardware, he used to work at Best Buy. We have a few more that look like they belong on duck dynasty; all they do is talk huntin’ and fishin’ and beer and women they wish they had. Our front end manager came from “women’s fashion industry” She sure looks purty but she don’t get her hands durty. We think she was hired to give the man-agers something to look at in their many meetings.
Our management team is in place basically to make the SM feel like he's still a halfway decent manager. They hand picked very carefully to make sure they their color and gender diversity covered then paked the rest with under 25 white boys that play XBox together. We call them the SMs personal ball washers. Just in case we somehow missed the point the SM flat out told one woman that it was necessary to kiss butt. Lucky us that means we have the world's greatest salad tossers and no leaders.
