January 26, 2018 --- Walmart has recently restructured some of its business and corporate functions. The company used fair and consistent processes to identify positions that are no longer needed for the future structure., part of this process, the decision has been made to restructure the jobs in your area. The first employment terminations resulting from the re-organization that is affecting you will occur on March 30, 2018.

Your current position of co-manager at store xxxxx been eliminated or changed and is no longer available to you. Unless you are offered and accept another role with the company, your last day of employment with Walmart will be March 30, 2018. This action is expected to be permanent.

From today, date through March 30, 2018, you may search for and be considered for other open positions of interest within Walmart. This notice does not affect your pay status prior to your termination date. There are no 'bumping rights' in this situation, which means that you do not have the right to take another Associate, position.

Following your separation from the company, your eligibility for severance benefits is determined according to the company, Severance Benefits Policy. The Severance Benefits Policy can be found on the WIRE at under Knowledge Center,Policies>By Tale>Severance Benefits Policy. For more helpful information during your transition, please visit WalmartOne@walmart.com.

this should have enclosed the severance pay information

Been employed for 10 years, I am getting 23 weeks PAID out at end of march AND, I am on paid leave for Feb and March while I search for another job. All benefits remain the same during paid leave, including eligible for the yearly bonus. Not too shabby.
