Many MSO's not interested in the new combo AP & Ops jobs, as a small woman I have no interest in making arrests or leading a security team to capture teenagers and low lifes who shoplift. In my store the AP team has had four instances where shoplifters were detained and they had guns on them, one which was pointed at an AP team member....no thank you. The problem is that we were told that we could resign, but no severance package was offered like it was to the AP Managers. Our AP Manager is currently on a leave of absence for the last four months healing from an injury sustained from an apprehension, no real interest in taking inventory....gotta look for a job that won't get me injured or killed.
