Walmart has quietly begun testing an advanced, autonomous floor scrubber during overnight shifts in five stores near the company's headquarters in Bentonville, Ark., a move that could free workers from hours of drudgery, but that has already raised alarm among some employees. As the U.S.’s largest private-sector employer, Walmart is watched carefully for any shifts it makes to its workplace.

They will need more than the floor scrubber.Do you think that's the only machine involved in cleaning walmart or any other business. Ridiculous statement of some one who has no ideal of commercial cleaning.There Waxing,Cleaning and sweeping the floor,Underneath the shelves in grocery as well as the store.Picking up the mountains of trash the nasty customers leave.Cleaning the restrooms,it's not uncommon for these nasty red necks to take a pis on the floor.I remember once the stool had over floe'd and I saw a nasty bastard squatted down it the stall taking a sh-- on the floor.There only 2 stalls in the restrooms they are almost as large as McDonald there in walmart what a waste of room.10 customers waiting to use a stall some sh--ting themselves standing in line.They took out the paper towels and put in hand driers,Inpatient customers waiting there turn to get to the dryers shaking off there hands on the floor and tracking through it what a mess. Standing in front of the urinal and shaking off on the floor.If you're looking for the restroom in a walmart follow your nose.I have also noticed Associates some working in the dells and meat dep.not washing after using the stall.As well as the low life managers. Maintenance will be around as long as walmart to clean up after these swine
I have been with Walmart over 20 years and I served in the military for years before that. I can tell you with the way things are going the handwriting is on the wall, I would say prepaid for impact and be ready for what is coming Unfortunately I have had to let go of a number of good people and it hurts my heart quite honestly.I suspect that after Holiday there will be many more layoffs across the organization both in Bentonville and San Bruno before the bonuses are granted. The company is tremendously chaotic. ML is transforming the company and not in a good way. The endless reorganizations, the conflicting goals and war between the bentonville side and the Ecomerce side is maddening. The family that was Walmart is over, now it’s all about survival so get ready...
This is just a start. Nobody's job is safe nowadays...
