Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

PSI/PSE leads and credit cards

I read on connections that Lowe's gives Jimmie johnsons pit crew $480.00 for every race he wins. That's $480.00 for each and every pit crew member.

Hey Lowe's how about you give me $480.00 for each and every PSI/PSE lead I turn in that results in a sale? Do that and you'll see me telling every customer about the PSI/PSE program. While you're at it, why not tell your PSI/PSE people to get off their butts and walk the store to generate some of their own leads.

If you want me to promote your credit cards with the loan shark interest rates, how about sliding me some money for my efforts? Maybe $48.00/each because you're going to make more than that in interest alone.

The lowe's shopper - the middle age female looking for the perfect bathroom light fixture - doesn't have a rats butt about NASCAR. Only niblock and his cornies care about that junk.

what a waste of money. Total freaking waste of marketing funds.

Invest the nascar sponsorship into getting new, updated computers for each store. Heck, some of ours are missing keyboards and mice and the management won't order them because they cost money out of the store's - aka manager's bonus - bottom line.

By the way, sponsoring a major team in Sprint Cup as a major sponsor for a full season is estimated to cost between $20 and $30 million a year. Considering activation (advertising, appearances and ancillary marketing) can cost two to three times as much as the actual sponsorship, Dollar General could be looking at a $100 million a year commitment

Depot might be saving $100 million per year since they left Nascar

100 mill divided by 1840 stores that's over $54K per store, per year. Lowes might be able to staff the store with that. But wait, why do that?, Do you think Nibs and J.J. buy their home improvement supplies from the company. They don't care about staffing. It's all about living off the blood, sweat, and tears of the staff while the corporate overlords look down from their private jets. I wonder if the conversation is like. I just flew over... South Carolina, that counts as a visit, I just flew over florida, check that....
