@IUIqp1T-1srw, The timing of the news of his hire at intel doesn't match Qualcomm's story.
Within two or 3 days of Qualcomm announcement, the intel PR came out. I would have guessed Qualcomm would have made any decision, a week or two before that at most. On the other hand intel wouldn't have hired somebody at his position, without months of consideration.
so more than likely the Qualcomm PR of his demotion was after he announced he was moving out.

Many of the people who have washed up at Intel from Q were political allies of Murthy. When he lost out on the CEO job, his cronies knew that they were vulnerable.
As shtty a place as Intel is to work, Q is also a brutal, political shthole full of incompetents and politics.
