Pressures from Inside and from Outside

Boeing may have made some poor decisions but the pressure was coming from the customer who was being pressured by governments, activists, and the general public.

So Called News; based on a document that can be fact checked.

Boeing Considered System Redesign Before Accidents:
https://www.reuters.com/article/us-indonesia-crash-boeing-ntsb/boeing-considered-system-redesign-before-accidents-ntsb-report-idUSKBN1X41Y5

This article looks and smells like propaganda, judge for yourselves.
IMHO The Spin Doctors are working to prepare the public for Max re-certification.
Re-certification is good, being able to trust Boeing and the FAA would be better.

NTSB Report Press-Releases:
https://www.ntsb.gov/news/press-releases/Pages/NR20190926.aspx

NTSB Report:
https://www.ntsb.gov/investigations/AccidentReports/Reports/ASR1901.pdf

Nowhere in the NTSB Report does it state that
Boeing Considered System Redesign Before Accidents

I don't think it exonerates Boeing in any way. But it gives the back story for the rush job. In the end, Boeing should have known better. They chased a competitor and lost because they put the prize and profit above doing it right.

Somebody in Boeing is digging deep, clear down to Austral,
to find any excuse to find cover any cover for this Monumental Boeing Blunder.
What a disgrace.

Solely a Product of McNerney era focus on ruthless cost cutting and short term profit, long term prospects be damned.

Ummmm, No. Boeing F'd up bigtime here with the MAX. They were fat dumb and happy with their tired and played out 53 year old 737 design until the Neo showed up. The MAX was a rush job as as the world now sees. Who knows what will come out next about the MAX ? They should sink them all off the coast as artificial reefs, this way they would do some good and not k–l anymore people.
