so with all the changes, new board, new CEO and senior team, reduction in staff, outsourcing, upsetting the supply chain to a point there is no supply chain anymore, has this company improved??
Still in decline, still not selling much, customers even more frustrated, employees just wanting to leave.
So Whats the point?

The Supply Chain nor the company in general haven’t improved.... it continues to get worse. All the young talented employees have left and those still hanging on can barley keep the ship afloat. Senior leadership and the CEO are incompetent and have destroyed what was once a great company. As others have said, they try to make Xerox look good but we all know that the company is a complete disaster. Those of us that were smart enough to get out can’t certainly state the grass is greener on the other side and fully recognize how broken Xerox has become.
rpk hit it on the nose. I talked to a relative who is in the investment industry and she was saying that on paper, Xerox looks like a potential good short term investment. She is looking at it from the outside of Xerox. Where I look from the inside, I would rather put money somewhere a bit safer.
You are thinking from insiders perspective - think outsider view: make the profitability look better & adding lipstick to the pig to make it seem geared towards growth (internally we all know it’s a lie & they want to hit $40 per share & sell it)
There are two points.
- Executives chasing multi-million dollar compensation.
- Executive ego, sometimes known as sociopathic behavior.
When you look at the mgmt team individually they fall into one of both of these groups. Best we can hope for is they are exposed when a purchase does not materialize.
