Does anyone have any information on possible Layoffs? Multiple people were told to cancel all meetings for this Wednesday. The quarterly earnings call is this Thursday. This can’t be a good sign....

We lost 2 District Managers, 2 Supervisors, 3 Leads, and a Trainer from our site. Sad day indeed. Puts us all on edge.
I want to say that giving a severance of 29 weeks for 17 years of loyal service is BS and they have lied over and over saying that a job is safe no worries. F—ing corporate executives only care about themselves. Calling the 29 weeks enhanced ????????????? this isn't a layoff it's firing and 2 months before Christmas? How do these executives live with themselves.
12% of all exempt and/or nonexempt leadership positions (300 out of 2500) were eliminated today with a few dozen more scheduled in Q1 of 2020. ADS has been declining for several years now. Their org structure has been top heavy for awhile and their systems and servers are extremely archaic and inefficient. It was only a matter of time that this caught up with them. With all of the outsourcing to India, Jamaica and Mexico, the writing was on the wall.
It’s not layoffs... it called people were let go. People DON’T get severance packages for layoffs?!? Sad day for alliance data. We need to be worried! It’s coming! They’ve done nothing but lie to us for months!
Round 2 coming soon
my entire team was “eliminated” as they put it based on business decisions. We were told at 2pm 10/23/19. From what I heard from others, my entire department was eliminated because they were “consolidating” positions. 300 company wide eliminated. Very sad and dirty how it all went down. We were told to look for our severance packages in the mail with instructions on how to send our work at home equipment back. 6 years, perfect attendance and a strong work ethic down the drain for a company who in the end, could have cared less. Thank you GOD for deliverance. I know GOD has a better plan for my life.
People had last minute 2pm meetings pop up on their calendar. This is their classic move when laying off people. Watch out for round two, thats when the other shoe will drop.
“Approximately” 300 were laid off. It’s a sad day to be an ADS associate. This is not the company I thought I worked for. All of these jobs are being sent overseas where the service will continue to suffer due to inadequate training, the language barrier, etc. This is devastating.
Yes, 300 people were just laid off today. This looks strategic, 1 day before the Q3 earnings call. The company is not doing well. All levels of leadership and some non-exempt positions were affected. Field Engagement, Client Partnerships, Customer Care, Collections, Delivery Operations, Recruiting, Training, Supervisors, Department Managers, Directors, Compliance, Legal, Global Support, Workforce Mngmnt, Marketing, Human Resources, 4 VPs, all intern positions, and other departments were impacted. Sell your ADS stock now!!
No rhyme or reason for who was selected. Feels like names were pulled out of a hat.
I don’t know of a single upper management person who was laid off. Layoffs were from every area of the business. Care center, marketing, analytics, security, client Partnerships and more.
It was NOT just upper management. The folks writing that are incorrect. Folks across all levels were laid off. There are at least 10 people I know of that were NOT management. Security guard, analysts, coordinators, advisors, building services. None of them were management.
300 people in upper management have been fired, we just had a meeting and according to what they’re not laying anyone else off.
It's happening I was laid off.
300 people state side laid off, 5 confirmed in Kansas.
Some people who were newer to the company and many who had been with the company for years and had reputations as good partners. Can't figure out how they made the choices on who to cut.
Right before the holidays......shame on the leaders
All upper management is simply not true. I know three just from my department that are hourly wager earners near bottom of the pyramid. There's a fourth staff I know that was salary.
300 people for now all upper management from what I have heard
Yep, 300 people. IT is mostly unaffected, lots of folks in Marketing and Client Partnerships
Across multiple departments. Was informed that about 150 were from Easton Campus, and the remaining were related to the call centers.
People across sites and lines of business are getting layoff. Associates are having meeting with their direct supervisor and managers regarding their performance. I believe more layoff to come.
300 confirmed today.
what positions / departments have been laid off?
My sister just got laid off today, US based in Ohio
Can confirm. There are approximately 300 layoffs, all US-based from my understanding.
300 people is what I'm hearing
yep already 3 people from my department
they're happening now
I am very worried about this. Everyone thinks layoffs are coming.
