I know lots of insiders visit this site. It's anonymous so just curious if anyone has insight into what staff related changes may be ahead at store level. Not names obviously, just in general.

Other companies are spending billions to expand their infrastructure and future-prep their businesses. BBB is still clinging to its “We have to beat Amazon, but we don’t want to spend any money on it” policy. Beyond+ and charge cards aren’t going to save the company when everything else is stuck in the past. We should have offered free 2-day shipping 5 years ago. We should have modernized the stores 15-20 years ago. We should have struck an alliance with Amazon and started using their infrastructure, their trucks, their warehouses, their shipping strengths. We can’t beat them, so let’s join them if we still want to be in business a year from now. Now is the time to choose wisely, because we missed every single one of our opportunities to innovate.
So many views...no replies. Says volumes actually. Well those of you in power positions should know bbb is a depressing place to work now with declining business, hours, people asking us daily when we are closing. Are the DMs, RMs etc that disconnected? And moving sh– around in the store won't make any difference. Fix the online order process start there. All other major players offer FREE shipping AND 1 or 2 day delivery. Why can't we? So many complaints about our deliveries...maybe address this since we're in an online shopping world now. But instead, we will focus efforts on moving sheets or whatever from this spot to this one, ridiculous outdated old logic. Old ideas and leaders NEED to go already.
