Thread regarding Sabre Holdings layoffs

Total failure from the top down

I left Sabre in April and will never look back. Concepts (can't call them products) developed for YEARS before actually being released. Lack of process. Lack of accountability. Lack of integrity and serious ethic concerns.

I heard rumors of a major layoff coming June/July.

Total failure from the top down.

Agree completely, @NZEs90p-3gnx. I am not sure if things are going to change now that Sabre hired Joe DiFonzo as CIO, but I am not holding my breath.

How can they justify keeping the head of AS Sales after this debacle? He cannot even stand to talk to low level workers and every one in Sales is afraid of him because he is retaliatory. It is not a conducive culture to work or thrive in and it is entirely him.

It's too late for Sabre now.

What the company needs is Surgery. What it has been getting is bad external hires and band- aid for years. Take the example of outages and the P&T leadership.

Cuts are almost sure to happen now. However while that will help to meet the 2017 target, it will not help with things that matter such as products, outages, etc. It will make things worse and impact morale adversely.

Don't see things improving any time doon for Sabre unfortunately

LOL looks like a total #winner! Ousted from Syniverse then failed at consulting until hired by Sabre! Sweet! Glad Sabre is attracting greatness...
