I thought I read that mareting was hiring folks then so I totally missed the layoff.
How many impacted then? Or are there rolling layoffs that will be ongoing?

Unfortunately, the last comment is very true.
I do appreciate addressing under performers first. It avoids the "each manager must remove X #" then they don't focus on performance but more on loyalties.
Guess we are closer to the RIFs now that the early packages have been offered, the performance people managed out, and soon the folks who choose to not return to office resign. And then there was one.
Focus has been to tighten up performance and productivity.
So those not fulfilling the objectives of the role were managed out on programs beginning mid summer. They could choose between leaving immediately but keeping employment until the end of performance plan period, OR try to perform the objectives outlined on the PIP to fight to stay. They all tried to keep the transitions out as quiet as possible. Most of us chose to respectfully not make mention. One chose to redirect attention to "imply" departing for educational pursuits. None of these were part of a reduction in force.
Don't believe so.
Just attrition through encouragement, PIP's, etc.
I trust baed on the final results of those who are managed out or choose to leave will decide the layoff targets
Rollin’, Rollin’ Rollin’…..keep the train a rollin’ #thenewnormal
